Is there an actual group buy price or is that just in reference to organizing things?

No actual "group buy" price but once the emails are sent with the info, Shawn will send out invoices on Monday and he will take something off the regular price for us. How much discount will be applied, I'm not sure, I'm happy regardless of what discount is given haha.

That's cool… this is really tempting… can't afford it quite yet but I'm stoked for you guys and can't wait to hear how this turns out - still tempting though...

Update

Invoices should be headed our way relatively quick. Jeff @ UM is still getting the files ready, once they are ready he will have the final price, which will then be sent to Shawn and then invoiced.

Shawn won't be doing Paypal to avoid fees, so it'll have to be paid through all major credit cards.

He just received the cable today so he'll be testing out the cable and laptop today while he waits for Jeff's work.

I think you'll be okay.

UM has probably been busy with WiTW stuff + "R25" build (http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthrea...fter-the-.-R36...) ... I'm going contact Shawn tomorrow to see if we have any chance of getting things done this weekend, if not I'll tell him after April 8th is okay.

Received a call from Shawn today. He seems to have lost Erick's email so once Erick sends him another email he will send us invoices. He is still waiting on Jeff but he knows we are tired of waiting and will send out the tool this weekend.

Ben, if you're reading this, no worries haha, Shawn just wants to get things moving even if the UM guys are super busy with WiTW preparation and projects. It doesn't seem like we'll be rushed to get him the tool and laptop back asap so I'll make sure to organize something once the stuff arrives.

For those who were and maybe still considering getting a UM tune, you still have time to email Shawn and get signed up. If you have any questions feel free to PM me.

Welcome back.

Invoices were sent out today, so be sure to check your emails.

I live in a high-rise condo so we'll probably have to do the tunes at either your place or Evan's (I'll have to ship it out to Erick once we are done). We will need a wired/wireless connection to do the tunes. If neither of you has a strong enough wireless connection to reach outside I don't mind getting a long Cat5 cable for a wired connection.

If you guys can both PM me your cell numbers I will text/call you both when I receive the laptop and cable.

I'm in a condo too so it may be a bit tricky in the parkade but we can figure it out if a better option doesn't pop up.
