  • Blown DV?

Hey guys a Got a question, i know that their is a lot of pages on this but i wanted your guys opinion. Can A stock Dv withstand the boost of the Ko4?. I think i blew mine because my guage flutters when i put the pedal to the medal to the metal and it just started? And if so Any suggestions for DV's. BOV welcome but i probably wouldn't end up getting one

Forge 007. I have also heard that the Audi TT DV (stock, Bosch) can withstand more boost as well.

710N... used it on my old Jetta which had a fairly aggressive tune in it and now use them on the S4 without issue.

        Re: Blown DV?

Do you still have boost? Or do you feel a loss of boost? If not could be a leak in the vacuum

If you need a new dv I have a bunch from inc stock, upgraded 710N, forge, apr and few more

          Re: Blown DV?

To test the DV take it off the car, push the diaphram up all the way and push your finger over the vacuum line to seal it then let go of the diaphram. The diaphram should come down a little bit but not all the way. Then put your finger on the diaphram again lightly and remove your finger from the vacuum line and see if the diaphram returns to the normal position.
