  • Req: Help with part numbers

Hey Guys, I've done some searching but can't seem to find the proper part numbers to do a Halogen -> Bi-Xenon swap on my '12 Golf.

Here's the part numbers I found but didn't check out at the dealership:
    Left Headlight - #5K1 941 751 D
    Right Headlight - #5K1 941 329 B
    Power Module - #7L6 941 329 B
    HID Ballast - #5M0 907 391

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Check BKS tuning. I can't remember for sure, but I think they might list the numbers on their website. It's pricey though... like $2000+ for OEM. Ed's replicas are supposed to be really good and nowhere near as expensive if you're willing to take that route

I might have to go with Ed's Replicas if I can't find a good deal on the OEM.

Yeah, it's hard to find a good deal on the OEM parts from what I hear. I've never really looked into it, but whenever I see people ask about it on Vortex, it seems like they either bail or end up going with reps. Ed's reps are under $1000 IIRC

Edit: On BKS: AFS retrofit is $650, and the HID conversion kits are anywhere from $2600 to $4000

check out what ECS tuning has:

Housings are all made by Helix, and I believe they carry OEM ballasts as well.

Maybe you should do a retrofit. You can get a very good quality full kit from www.theretrofitsource.com for around $400.
