Osram Silverstars

I got these on Friday from www.powerbulbs.com and finally had a chance to install them. I also got some free Philips Bluevision city lights. In my opionin, these provide more output the the Sylvannia Silverstars (as they have no blue tint) and are whiter than stock. The Philips city lights look very nice as well.

It might just be me but changing the city lights were a royal pain! I couldn't get my hand in there to disconnect the little bastard and there is so little room even needle nose pliers wouldn't fit in there. I eventually resorted to pulling on the wire to get it disconnected.

Just thought that I would share.

Unfortunately I had 2 burned out stock bulbs when I replaced them so I don't have any before and after shots. My comparison to the Sylvania was to other GTIs that I know that have them installed.

I installed a set of silverstars on my friend's solara and we compared the 1 silverstar to the 1 factory bulb and the silverstar was definatly brighter and clearer. for the price(I think he picked up the pair for 30 us) they are a very good noticable improvement.
