I didn't know they were brining back the 2.slow... Last thing I heard about Golf/Jetta engines was that the 2.5 was going to be replaced by the 1.8 TSI, but I haven't heard anything about that lately.

Yep. I thought it was supposed to come out in the 2013 models, but maybe it was with the MK7s. I'm really interested to see how it will compare performance wise to the old 1.8T, the 2.5 and even the 2.0T.

the jetta S is the 2L, the Se is the 2.5L!

Jetta's in the UK are offered with a 1.4TSI (120hp or 160hp), 1.6TDI (105hp Bluemotion) or 2.0TDI (140hp) and the pricing begins at £16,540, for reference.
