iTunes (MPEG-4) ------> SD Card ------> RNS 510

Can you put iTunes files in MPEG-4 format on an SD Card and use that with the VW RNS 510 head unit?

I know this works in our Audi and we don't even have to convert the MPEG-4 files to MP3 format...

Same in the VW or do you have to convert the MPEG-4 files to MP3 files first?
