I can't believe that these tires came on my 2013 Golf R...

These are the same as the stock tires that came on my 2009 GTI and they are garbage. I assumed the Golf R would come with better quality rubber; apparently I was wrong... I know there were a few different tires that came on the GTIs; these were the worst of the worst. I can't believe VW still uses these!

Did all the Golf R's come with these junk Dunlop tires or did I just have bad luck in the stock tire dept. again?

Why are they so bad? I find it hard to believe they are THAT bad.

They are all seasons though could that be why you are noticing poor performance right now?

They are "that bad"... and no, I'm not using them in winter. They'll kill u if you dare try using these in winter...

I had these on my GTI from the factory and they're a poor, poor tire in terms of cool (read: <20C) traction and durability sucks! Sidewalls bubble on anything...

These tires are garbage and I'm sure VW knows that. Guess VW must get'em cheap...

Oh well, I guess that's what Kijiji is for?

They are great tires, just not high performance in any way. Most every magazine review I have read about the R has something to say about a car of this caliber coming with crappy all seasons.

I saw that add on kijiji, but it's not mine... I wouldn't sell OE wheels.
