So I've had a problem ever since I bought my tdi, was dumb and didn't get a cold start out of it before I bought it.
If it sits let's say all night, it will start but then stall when I first start driving, so in between shifts, or if I come to a stop, and then after stalling about twice it will be fine.
Doesn't matter the temperature, even did it in summer.
Almost like fuel pressure is bleeding off, if it sits for a few hrs or more.
I've already replaced;
-tandem pump/gasket was leaking
-coolant sensor/thermostat was throwing a code
-fuel filter, and 2 o-rings, also replaced the hose clamps
-fuel hose to tandem pump that was cracked
-in tank fuel pump/seal
-crankshaft position sensor
I've checked the glowplugs, they were all showing 0.8 ohms, and it has had the glow plug and egr recall.
Should I check timing? Wouldn't that make it hard to start every time?
Car has 255 some odd kms
