good winter tires

hey,
i just got a 1999 vw gti vr6 and i live in ontario and we get alot of snow so i need sum good winter tires for my ride. any help would be appreciated

Blizzak LM or WS tires, or Pilot Alpine's.

The Icelanders are good tires. Unless you've done the TT brake upgrade...get yourself some 15" steelies with the Green Diamond Icelanders.

I have the less agressive MDT's...great nonetheless, but I want something more aggressive.
