What km or time is recommended for replacement of belt
do you also replace water pump? reason
are the factory ones still plastic like the older 1.8t

Re: Question on timing belt 2.0 turbo motor

if its TSI then 110k would be fine. While your in there, replace the belt tensioner (opt for a manual belt tensioner IMO) and water pump with a METAL impeller. There's little reason to do it other than to just get it done while your in there. Preventative maintenance is the best kind!
Timing belts can be intimidating, but just take your time and triple check your work. If you do decide to do it yourself, im sure someone on the forum would be more than happy to help
