I have a Matchstick Red 02 GTI with black cloth right now and was just offered a full set of heated Black/Red Recaros from a crashed 2000 GTI. The seats are immaculate with the exception of the middle rear seatbelt which is locked from the accident. The side airbags are still undeployed. He is asking $350 for everything. my questions are, How difficult is it to put everything in and reset the seatbelt? My GTI doesnt have the heated seat option how much would it be to wire that up? anyway thanks in advance

i remember seeing those seats on ebay, lol.

i guess to wire it up all you would need is the switches, and run the wires down and under the floor...

nope sorry, they're probably cheap at the dealer. just go to them and they will give you part numbers and stuff like that.

Yeah, too much hassle, better off to give me the seats!! The middle seat belt I would just leave as is, the return mech could be damaged if there was any load on it whatsoever....best of luck and a great deal!

I jumped the gun a little, the red GTI I was getting and had a deposit on fell through as I found one with leather and a few other things cheaper. I will post the guy's email as soon as he okays it which I doubt will be a problem.
The seats themselves are immaculate and he is asking $350 which is a steal(I just wouldnt replace leather with cloth). Oh yeah he is located in SW PA if you can pickup
