So my fender had signs of rust and I tried to deal with it, sanded it, sprayed rust inhibitor, touch up paint then a lacquer. Then 5-7 days later starting showing through again. What should I do about this with winter coming. Also my other fender is corroded right through (from when I bought it), and dealing with the body shop and the warranty still on it is very frustrating. Should I find a used fender and just do it myself or wait to see if I get the approval for the warranty. Thanks

i went and bought new fenders.its the only way because the rust always came back. i had to repaint mine a couple times before going new. wait for the warranty first. doesn't hurt to try.Ken
