  • Woot finally

Forge finally got in more Samco Turbo inlet hoses. I was wanting to order one of these forever but they always only had bright ass red or blue and I wanted black so it looks OEM at least
so 185US later and some shipping and it'll be here in a week or so should be fun to install sposed to make the turbo spool quicker and gain a few ponies at the same time.. won't say numbers until butt dyno can agree with them

and on another note either my vag cable or g-tech came today but can't get it until tommorow from the post office weather sucked so i cancelled my trip back home too

Nice. You live in the hood too so I should hook up with you one of these days to try these things out.

nah ryan you should have gone for a colored hose and then styled everything else in your engine bay the same way. my motif is silver/red because i have all my engine cover parts painted silver, and the silicone for my intake red. if I were to get the samco hoses they would be red and everything would match and oh my *spooge*

          oh rite, nice work.

haha thanks guys well this is my plan for the engine bay.. paint my battery box and engine cover(s) reflex silver, paint my CAI reflex silver, then do the rest of the samco turbo hoses in black.. my motif on my car is silver/black (other than wheels i spose) like smoked stuff black leather silver outter.. looks pimp to me.. just gotta get the W8 lol

When you're painting your engine cover, are you planning on sanding it smooth? Has anyone done this? My plan is to pain it and the battery cover this summer, but I would like the cover to match the battery box in terms of surface finish.
                huh?

I did it this past summer. Sanded it thrice, painted once, sanded again, repainted and then put on clear coat.

Did the engine cover and the battery cover. And it looks f'n hot!

I just used paint from Canadian tire and I would assume it matches reflex silver pretty good, I can show you on thursday and you can see for yourself.

Doesn't the paint go into all those little holes in the engine cover?

Maybe just bondo over the holes first. Then the engine cover would also look a bit different. Or router out some long vents.
