Yeah, always see cars with amber running lights. Either way, amber running light are better than no running lights like me

I think that falls under the "ok its old" catagory. All Canadian vehicles are required to have headlight on at all times. That being said if you used LED bulbs you could have both in one housing rather easy.

I never read page 3 I do wonder if they consider headlights to be the same as drls. I know the golfs have to have those stupid little bulbs for some reason where the jetta's don't.

To solve your turn signal issue, the reason the jetta wiring has 3 wires is because the bulbs are dual filament. Get bulbs meant for a jetta turn signal and the wiring meant for a jetta and you will have bulbs that both half and fully illuminate.

Cheers, that is the explanation that makes this work. I knew there were 3 wires, just not sure if one was a half voltage wire and a single filiment or dual filiments with both the same voltage wires

If you have not gone to far with this I thought you have the same headlights I used to have with the angel eyes. You can have mine for free if you want to replace the cracked part that you pointed out in your first post. Or you can use the fog projectors or low beam projectors for something... if you want them anyways.

have you already taken them apart? the only parts that i need now, is a pair of amber or clear signal lenses, right now i have one of each.
