If you primed them yourself first, I wouldn't be surprised if we could get them done for free.

Simon, I don't think the prices include GST. I'll have to clarify that with the shop and post a follow-up.

Yeah, these are really good rates. The whole idea was to have some place where NVD members could go and not have to do any guess work on prices. Finding a body shop is probably the hardest part of modding our cars. So this way, we no longer have to know that "hook up" to get a good rate on painting/body work.
Thanks, if I can figure out how to get the mirrors off, I might take you up on that offer.

Yup, spoke with the shop again today to let them know that the arrangement is now "official". So anyone can feel free to call them at anytime.

Blair, I forgot to ask them about fender rolling. I'm not even sure they have the fender rolling tool there

BTW Blair, I sent you a PM about your Dad's whip.

Exciting stuff Ryan I'll probably run into you cuz I'm going there at lunch also to drop off Ozzies rear bumper and check the progress on my car......no peeking when you get there jk

I went there today too, to drop off my car. My rear valence (for your cutout template) is sitting right in the entrance when you walk in. I should be there by about 12:15 or so.

If your coming from downtown, just head East on Memorial, turn left on 28St (after the LRT station), go up the hill and down the street until you see Payless Autoglass on the right. It's in the same complex.

Yeah, the exhaust is always the tricky part. When I put my Oettinger rear on, the exaust had to come down about 2". Rudy's uses Carline muffler down the street to do any exhaust work needed. They drove my car down, had Carline install longer hangars, and also had them custom bend a 1' section of pipe to accomodate the drop. It worked out pretty good. Cost me something like $45 extra though. Rudy's just handled it and tacked it onto the final price which was pretty convenient.

I actually can't make it at noon anymore cuz I have a business lunch to go to but I'll be there at 4:30 instead.

thats really cool of them, I have to get the same thing done with my brullen, except with the rieger kit, the pipe has to be extended like 4" or else it doesnt come out the outlet, and becomes a hidden tip

Yeah Simon, Ozzie had the same problem with his Remus coming out of the Reiger rear. It was kinda hard to get it exact from what he told me. Speed Tech (or RPM as they used to be called) did it and it looks pretty good. They freakin' charged him over a hundred bucks though to "adjust" the muffler That was more than he paid to have it installed in the first place

ugh, you mean I have another $100 bill to look forward to? I was anticipating a $50 one to adjust it, but not $100. woe is me.

If "RPM" did it, then it was prolly done by "Techworks", they used to work in the same building as RPM before they moved (they had an office off to the left of the counter behind the exhausts). Their work was ok, well, quite good actually but a pain to deal with. Anyway, RPM has moved and Techworks moved over close to the new 5th Ave. in case anyone is interested.

thanks, i'll probably take it to the closest minute muffler or something in hopes that they can do it cheaply (and correctly)

Nice Ryan. Yeah, I was gonna pick up my car from them tonight, but they let me keep it in their bay for another day to let the paint and adhesives cure at room temperature longer BTW, wuddaya mean by "M" shape?

Simon - I don't think other places would charge you the $100 to adjust your exhaust. If they do, they're trying to rip you off. I paid $80 to get mine installed, and then like $45 to have it adjusted (that even included custom bending a piece of pipe and welding it in too)
