What kind of management and bags? I'd be happy to do it for the right price.

Pat is definitely correct on this, but the tool has to be the same so he does not forget which one it looks like. I figured the trick was a simple number 2 phillips, he did a great job of handing me that tool about 3 times that day!

But yeah I'm sure me and Ryan would be willing to help out depending on what the timeframe was

Re: Hiring: MKV Air Ride install

The setup is airlift slam series/XL bags 1 viair compressor 1 tank and accuair e level. I could leave the car with who ever for next week. I'll pay well and I will help. I just don't wanna get ripped off with the install and I'd love tO learn it so I could do it myself or repair. I wanna build myself a nice trunk setup so that saves some time. The main thing I'm looking for is running lines/wiring and knowledge.

Ummm...ok, I'm not sure that dropping it off would be an option...do you have a space we could work on it? And I'm pretty sure you need 2 compressors...if I missed something, one of the above guys will FLAME/LET me know...this is totally a learning process for YOU...and a few of us other helpers! LOL

Re: Hiring: MKV Air Ride install

One compressor will work to a degree, would not be my choice but is doable. Install is pretty strait forward. Do you have a water trap and all the line and fittings? It would also be a good idea to seach and get an idea of sensor placement for the elevel no need to guess what will work when it has been done before

Re: Hiring: MKV Air Ride install

I only have 1 compressor and I think colin is only running 1 as well. If you a have 5 gallon tank or less, there is really no need to run more than one imo.

Re: Hiring: MKV Air Ride install

1 compressor will certainly work. 2 compressors is nice for a quicker fill time and the redundancy if one compressor was to fail for any particular reason.

As for dropping it off that means that i am out, I am definitely willing to help out but not willing to take on the whole job like that because I feel that people should install their own airride system. I am definitely willing to be there and help and teach but I'm not too fond of the idea of somebody just dropping the car off and picking it up a week later. Let me know if you change your mind

X2 on this installing it yourself with help, it is the way to go, that way if you ever have trouble with the system you are not completely screwed and clueless as to how to fix it. If you travel with your car there is a good chance of running into lots of areas where the people have little to no air ride experience and you could find yourself broke and stranded left to figure it out on your own.
I remember my first install I used a blade to cut my air lines before I put them into the ptc fittings. Almost every joint leaked until I went back and used a propper cutter.

No I understand. My space at the moment kind of sucks. I really wouldn't mind doing it myself with help.
