key fob??

today i tried to unlock my car and it only unlocked the driver door and it wont unlock any of the others...although it does unlock the hatch...and if i unlock all the doors from inside the car the fob will lock them all ...so all the fob isnt doin is unlocking the passenger doors. i just installed the w8 console like 4-5days ago and everything was workign fine....now this problem....so i am takin it to VW...will they hassel me for the w8 install..since i cut some of the wires and spliced into the dimmer?? :s thanx

Try this:

– Switch ignition ON.
– Close all doors and rear hatch/trunk lid.
– Using second key in driver’s door, turn key to
UNLOCK position and hold for approx. 10
seconds or until alarm horn sounds 3 times.
– Press the unlock/disarm button on first
transmitter (alarm horn will briefly sound
once to confirm programming).
– Press the unlock/disarm button on second
transmitter (alarm horn will briefly sound
twice to confirm programming).
– Repeat procedure for transmitters 3 and 4 (if
necessary).
– Turn and hold the key in the driver’s door lock
to the UNLOCK position (Within ten seconds
the alarm horn will sound 3 times).
– Switch ignition OFF.
