I'm a total lowering newbie. I was thinking of adding spacers to my MK4 TDI Jetta to widen the stance a bit, I'll eventually lower the car too but that will be later when I have more spare cash, until then I just want to make it a bit more aggressive looking.
How wide do the spacers need to be before you can actually see a change? 5mm? 8mm? 10mm? 15mm? 20mm?
What is the max spacer size before having to roll or pull the fenders (at stock height and at stock height-1 inch)?
I was thinking of going for a 1" drop only, any more and I think that I'll be scraping the front bumper on the road in front of my apartment. What brand type of drop should I get? Coilovers? Springs only?
