My current ABS pump is having issues, so I bought a good (used) low mileage one from another member.
Has anyone done this repair before?
How do you disconnect the cables that go into the module? I can't seem to budge them.
I don't want to make a mess so I'm trying to see if I can remove as much fluid as possible before unbolting those lines.
Should I use a pressure brake bleeder and empty the lines of brake fluid out before removing the pump - Or is this a bad idea?
Do I need to do anything special to prime the pump aside from the Vag-com sequence?
Any risks associated with this procedure to other parts of the car? How long will this take to do (worst case scenario)?
