  • Edmonton Tunedub equivalent

    hey fellas,

A family member is currently having some issues with their car up in Edmonton. A trip to Calgary is out of the question at the moment. I'm curious as to where you guys up north are getting your vehicles serviced.

    Thanks!

    I've been using Autobahn.

Or Westside, when the line at Autobahn is too long.

Richard and the crew at Dubsport if you're on the northside, or Basco on the southside.

Haha, I lived on the southside for 2 years and the only person I would take my Jetta to was Richard. He and his crew were always outstanding!

I have had 3 very satisfactory experiences at Westside. Never had an issue, they got everything done, in time and used my parts when I supplied. Sourced hard to find used parts when new ones could be found (for my '73 bus).

TB for my Mk4 TDI (plus they threw in a few extra bits, topped all my fluids, bleed my brakes, got all my codes cleared)
Got my Bus up to snuff to pass inspection, installed new struts, found me a signal stalk (something that hasn't been made in years), oil change, bunch of little tweaks.
My dad had a bunch of work done on his Mk1 Cabby there, and they weren't the best at calling with updates. But everything was done and sorted a day later than expected which isn't bad as they had to order a few extra parts they didn't expect.

I have heard you had a bad experience, but I haven't.

A co-worker has used PugCity on several occassions and was very satisfied.

Autobahn is still my primary choice.

Didn't know Bill was there, thought he was at Norden.

Richard at Dubsport does awesome work too. We had our brakes bleed on our Eurovan and service was first rate.

Thanks for the Props Chris, As for which shop to check out, Depends what side of the City you are on, If you are on the North or East side, head over and see Richie at Dubsport, He is good peeps, and If you are in my neck of the woods, drop on by. We are by Princess Auto. and Yep, I decided to get into business with these guys from Autobahn fairly recently. So most of my Norden customers have been popping in to say hi.
                            Cheers
