  • Great way to start my morning...

So driving in to work this morning on glenmore, everything is going ok until out of no where a boulder the size of a cantaloupe appears and i have no chance to get on the breaks or get to the other lane. I take the boulder right to the oil pan and blow the rock up, it wasn't the only thing that blew up. 3 seconds later the cel and oil light comes on followed by a light that literally says ''pull the **** over asap!"

Anyways i got to a safe area within 20-30 seconds and waited for a tow truck.

Took the car to George and he was able to get the pan off, new one installed and check over the area for any other damage that might have occurred. Big props to Tunedub for the help and to get my car done by the end of the day.

    Some pics for fun

    trail of oil

atleast i got to meet a cool Calgarian at work today!

blew my right front tire on east bound glenmore -> north crowchild (seen at left of your pic) last year. freaking scary spot to have anything happen to your car.

      skidplate ftw!!

MK3 pan is about an inch shallower, but most importantly its STEEL!!! I had a dent the size of a grapefruit in the pan of my old MK3 but it never cracked or leaked!

Hilarious (sorta) that I came into Alberta Boot on Thursday and parked next to (and admired) your R. The girl didn't appreciate it at all, but I sure did. Then I drove behind you as you turned by Chinook..sad that the baby took a hit the next morning, but glad all is ok.
