    Re: Golf locking Horn question

    A) Disconnect it, It should be under the cowl.
    B) Vag-Com can do anything.

      Re: Golf locking Horn question

      for the 2012 vagcom, if it is like the MKV's as it uses the horn itself and not the additional chirp horn. If it is not like the mkv's then disregard and unhook it

        Looks like should be able to set with vag-com, don't know if this goes up to 2012, but the 1J says third generation

        Channel 010: Locking Confirmation (Remote Control)
        Type of Confirmation when locking the Car via Remote Control.

        0 = Confirmation OFF
        1 = Confirmation via Blinker/Turn Signal
        2 = Confirmation via Beep/Horn
        3 = Confirmation via Beep/Horn & Blinker/Turn Signal

        Edit: Kept on reading and found this does not apply to 2010+. It should be in [09] - Central Electronics / Body Control Module (BCM) according to http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index...(5K/52)_Tweaks , but doesn't specifically mention the horn.
