    Another b5.5 passat question...

From various source, I have been told not to bother with an auto tranny flush on my passat because there is a high instance of in causing problems on higher mileage cars (140k km). My question is what is the best thing to do then. Do I leave it because it has "lifetime" fluid, or do I change the fluid with no flush, or chance it an do the works?

    Opinions please....

    Cheers
    Stefan

You never want to flush but changing the filter and cleaning the magnets is easy and well worth it. Cost of materials varies on code and a vag com is required as you have to fill watching the trans temp.
