  • Help me pick rims for the cabby

So I am looking at different rims on Tirerack for the cabby. I am going to go with 15" and cheap. The wife likes cheap and the car doesn't get a ton of usage. The car is blue with white top.
Here are some I have come up with so far, let me know what you think:
    Light and cheap
BBS RC Style Covers more of the center so you can't see that the brakes are so small Also come in black with machined lip.
Nice but not sure if I like the multidrill
    Simple Gunmetal

    Car they are going on:

Re: Help me pick rims for the cabby

I searched CVD/Kijiji and found a set with tires cheap. I wanted something OE and without plastic hubcentric rings. Sounds like my wife is on a similar spending plan.

I vote either BBS RC Style or polish up the Teardrops. Or Ronal Teddy's, but good luck with that one lol

Re: Help me pick rims for the cabby

Tear drops are rough around the edges, would cost more to fix them up and have tires mounted than buying new rims lol. I had a cheap set of p slots but two have slight bends in them so I gave up on refinishing them.

I'm a fan of these because they were an original wheel available for the Cab.

Hmm he wants $900 for those BBS's. I think I will just go with the ones from Tirerack and get new tires for a couple hundred bucks cheaper.

Think this guy would part the wheels with a trade?
