P2181 Code - Coolant System Malfunction

    P2181 Code - Coolant System Malfunction

    Hey guys,

    Yesterday CEL went on and I got it scanned with the above mentioned code. First thought is the thermostat. Reading over the internet I noticed people talking about the water pump as well. I had my pump replaced 10,000Km ago along with the belt and I hope that it hasn't gone bad yet. Are there any suggestions you have to check if it is the thermostat? Thoughts?

    Coolant temperature sensor? Does it have the revised green top?
