Hey guys,
After so much giving back to the community I am finally in need of some help/ideas here. I have tried everything that i could possibly think of and i'm still coming up stumped!
SHORT STORY
Car starts, e-level works, compressors don't kick on.
What i have tried/results
Tried: Tried to replace relays with others i had kicking around
Result: Still doesn't work
Means: Relays are still in good working condition
Tried: jumpering the relays from a 12V source from battery/rear distribution block
Result: Solenoid clicked and activated LED (green light shows coil activation on these solenoids)
Means: Relays are not the issue
Tried: since all the relays are working i tested the actual output from the e-level ECU by turning all the switches on with demand
Result: All solenoids clicked/activated
Means: Solenoid circuits are working
Tried: Checked all fuses
Result: All fuses good, i also have a voltmeter attached to the rear distribution block that reads 13V with car off
Means: Fuses are all fine
Now since the solenoid circuit is good and working there has to be a problem with the power circuit, by means of deduction.
Tried: regrounding all compressors with a set of booster cables. Grounded the vibration isolating frame to the rear tow hook where i scraped away paint and primer
Result: Compressors still didn't kick in
Means: Grounding should not be the issue
Tried: Also had to try regrounding the main ground wire
Result: Undid grounds and reattached, still not working
Means: Grounds should be fine
Thought at this point that there is something wrong between the compressors and the distribution block, but not the relay because i checked that.
Tried: Tried powering the compressors (each one at a time) straight from the distribution block that reads 13V
Result: Still nothing
Means: Compressors seem to be ****ed
At this point it seems that all 3 compressors kicked the dust at exactly the same time. Tell me how unlikely that is
Anybody else have any thoughts or ideas to try? I can still get around because my e-level is set to 200psi and i can fill it up at home with my other compressors.
Just seems like something fishy is up
