  • MKIV Muffler Options

    Hi Guys,

Since I've been out here I've been getting the itch to make my car a little bit louder. Let's go over this first. It's a 2.0 Autotragic, dumped with a cone filter. That's about it. What I'm looking for is just a little bit more rumble, nothing overly loud. Are there any shops in town that any recommends that would sell a universal performance muffler / install it? I've heard people getting cheap mufflers for about 80 bucks or so that sound great. Any input is welcomed, thanks.

    turndown tip is a must.

    Mat.

Sounds like a universal magnaflow will get you what you're after. Maybe cut the resonator as well. I recommend the minute muffler down by the fish creek train station

I have a dynomax superturbo on my 2.0. I like it. I got mine installed at Minute muffler in Lethbridge but I'm sure Cgy can do the same. It has a turndown tip on it as well.

I wouldn't do it. Why do you need the rumble, it's a 2.0. Just love who you are man, love who you are.

I did a catback Magnaflow and it was pretty loud on my 2.0. Woulda been ok if the car wasn't totally stock! You can change the tips to whatever you want too.
