Reminds me of the time I had my Mustang going 225 kmph. I had the heat on in the car to help the engine from not overheating. However, after about a minute of accelerating, my buddy and i were getting pretty hot in the car. So of course, my buddy reaches up and opens the sunroof to cool things down a bit. So, after about another minute or so we hit the governor and hang out there for a bit at 225. My buddy didn't realize we hit the governor so quickly reached up to close the manual sunroof to see if the decreased wind resistance, might help to squeeze out an extra kmph or two. However, the forces of the air travelling through the car and out the sunroof were so great, that he needed two hands to pull the sunroof back down into place.
It was truly hilarious! Then again... i guess you had to be there.
Cheers...

Holly snikkies batman! My question is how did you hit 280 with only 2.1 Kms on the trip? And how did you ever find enough room on a stretch of road that didn't have ice this time of year to go that fast?
Edit: Ok just noticed the ebrake light flashing on and off so this must have been on a Dyno, therefor no trip increase?

300 km/hr (185 mph).... I'm sorry... but I don't think so
Trip odometer would have had to move more than a few tenths of a km in 20 seconds. What's the story behind the video? Where was it taken? What kind of car was it?
