O.k. here is my question, i want to get a manual boost controller, but i was told that they are no good. Whats the big deal why would it be any different than a digital boost controller, besides the fact that you have to go under your hood to raise or lower your boost.. Oh and i plan to get a good boost gauge in order to know how many lbs i'm boosting. Can any one help me out?

Re: boost controller
My favorite topic!
I think that a manual boost controller is a VERY good idea.
You should read this link for starters:

In my opinion, if you just buy a cheap MBC you may have mixed results. In general the "relief valve" type MBC's you see are better for big turbos that spool up later and deliver higher pressure. However I plan on replicating the setup from the autospeed article, and from the people I have talked to I believe that I should be able to get much better results than with the N75.
If you want to talk about MBC's send me a PMKR
