  • Urgent help to adjust timing

I've got a big issue and I'm hoping one of you may be able to help me. I need to adjust the timing, I don't have a vagcom and I'm sure that its off beyond acceptable parameters. I've found the walk through to do it but without being able to see how far off it is I don't know which way to adjust the timing. I'm also supposed to leave in 3 days. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

All he has is a fuel pump, crank and cam to time. The fuel pump is really sensitive to being timed properly, if you're out even a minor bit it won't run good if at all.

Re: Urgent help to adjust timing

        There's 2 things I need to do:
        1-clear the error codes
2-check to see if the timing is within the acceptable parameters so I can adjust accordingly
What needs to be done is in my post in the "who has vagcom" thread.

I'll be more than happy to provide a 24 of your choosing for your help.
