This is really dependent on how well the car is maintained, and how much poeer you are making. I.changed mine at 62k and i was stage 2 for about 20k and my follower was fine almost no concavity to ot what so ever.
The car is making stock power and I have no idea what the previous owners service history has been like. When you have no idea that this happens, most people find out the hard way when the pump has completely destroyed the cam and there are parts of fuel pump in the head. But Chris just mentioning it saved me a chunk of $$$.
