What is your final Fender to ground and did you have to use spacers?

dunno what my fender to ground is, but i got about 2 fingers from the fender to the tire. i still got 1.5 inches of thread left so if i want i can go quite a bit lower. i had to run 5mm spacers to get rid of some rubbing i had on the coilovers. i might pick up some bigger ones in a couple weeks, but that also means im gonna have to get extended lugs which i hear are very expensive.

That is exactly what I was going to say. You should also never rely on a jack to keep you safe. Always use a jack stand no matter what. The only thing keeping you safe with only a jack is a $0.05 O-ring. Just ask the crew of the shuttle Challenger what happens when an o-ring fails...

                Re: coilover install party?

Bent my fender because of a failed widowmaker. Luckily it failed just as I was pulling the wheel off, the wheel jammed under the fender is what was holding up the car.

That was my lesson learned. Jack stands always, even if it's a quick tire change

Yeah on my old jetta, the widow maker slipped out and pinched in between the rocker panel and ground, pushing up and destroying the rocker panel. :(

More like $0.002 o-ring. Canadian tire/princess auto sells cheap jack stands that wwould save your live potentially in a situation like this
