Lowered my Mk5 jetta on KW yesterday and I'm looking to test fit a set of 18x8.5 et 35. Might be a long shot but it's worth a try. I'll pick up a 6 pack if any body is willing to help me out.

Re: Wheel test fit?
You will NOT rub. I have 215/40/18 on 18x8.5 ET30 with NO RUBBING ISSUES. and i'm on KONI coils which go lower than KW.Patryk

Re: Wheel test fit?
that can't be a 215/40 on an 8.5. Doesn't even look a bit stretched.. What is the fender to ground? With my stock 16s and 205/55/16s I'm running 24 front 23 3/4" rear.. Would I be able to run a flush setup? I want something like on my m3

Re: Wheel test fit?
My bad. I totally missed the MK5 part when I wrote my comment and was basing it on a MK4. I know nothing about MK5 offsets so i'm going to just back out of the room slowly......Patryk

I have no idea of FTG etc. tire brand/model can play a huge factor in overall fitment.
if you want specific wheel/tire size fitment pics get on Vortex and do some hardcore research before making your purchase.
