  • Signs of OIL in splitter valve,

When i was cleaning my throttle body yesterday i noticed on my forge splitter valve on the opening for the atmosphere release
there was slight signs of oil and not minimal but noticeable for sure, is it normal to have that amount of oil running from the turbo outlet, or should the turbo be sealed of oil the the turbine compartment??

    thanks

Re: Signs of OIL in splitter valve,

If your stock turbo it fairly normal, if you still have the stock smic there's probly lots of oil in there too You can take off all of the charge piping and clean with carb cleaner , except the rubber

Oil in your IC or throttle body is usually a sign that your seals are starting to go on your turbo...
