Discount Tire Direct?

Has anyone here used them? I want Falken 912's for my double staggered setup and the price I got from them was 705 and that includes a $160 Canadian tariff fee and shipping...so no brokerage fees when the UPS man shows up with my tires. I don't think that can be beat just wondering how long customs would hold up a set of tires! haha

Haven't used them but have you tried calling Urban X? They can usually get really good deals so its at least worth the phone call and maybe saving yourself the wait time.

I did email Bob this morning for prices on mounting, bearings and an alignment. I would like to go local but so far the only price close is about 100$ more. Kal Tire has a "sale" on 912's and they aren't even close!

I ordered my 512's from there that are going on my summer tires. $660 shipped to my door and that included shipping and all taxes, can't be beat. They arrived within 2 weeks of placing my order too

I've ordered 2 sets of winters from them and was very pleased with the service I got from them. I had them shipped to Sweetgrass without issue.

you can try 1010tires.com. I remember when i bought my falken 912's there it was around 730-740 shipped to my door and shipping was fast. iirc i think i got it to my door in 3-4 days. They're located in Vancouver so it's pretty fast and the price i found the 912's were cheapest at the time.

I've bought from Discount Tires Direct before and the prices were great as was the shipping cost. As for the time customs would hold, I got my tires in just a couple of days. Easy peasy.

Tunerworks is typically very close to online prices... plus you get the tire warranty if there is an issue.

awesome bud...I've been in touch with you through kijiji and your price was pretty competitive!

Bob got back to me as well and makes a pretty good case for buying them there...free flat fixes etc. Tough decision!
