It kinda looked like the GTI tails with that one strip but I bet you saw the edge from up close. The large amount of red offsets the black nicely in my opinion. Although I do have GTI tails I need to reinstall on my new golf

yeah, that was exactly it, stonewall. who knows maybe in the future ill put a strip back on, but i guess it was time for a change. thanks again everyone.

Remove the tints. It reduces the visibility of your brake lights and increases the likely hood of some poor sod hitting you from behind.
If you want tints go for OEM smoked hellas. I had these ones on my MK4 Smoked but with clear glass..

yeah, those look really nice. i think what I'm going to do is only smoke out the orange signal and revese. just lightly though. any suggestions of how i would do this? I've heard spray cans but I've heard its a little risky.

Metalcast paint maybe? not sure if they make a grey or black but it would work as it is a translucent "candy" paint.
