Club T-shirts

Well I am not sure if I want to bring this subject back up again but I have gotten a line on a place to get the t-shirts made. The club will probably not have enough money to pay for all the shirts, especially since we need to establish a budget for WoW.

However that being said I know some of you are willing to pay some more for the T-shirts. So in order to nail down the price we need to decide what we would like on the t-shirts. The NewVeeDub writing as on the top of this page, the old writing as on the stickers, the NVD style logo or something completely different. The simpler the design and perhaps sticking with one color will keep the prices down. If you could please post up some opinions then I can get a quote for the shirts and perhaps we can get them going sooner then later!

I don't know if this would up the cost or not. But how about the NVD logo on the front & back, and user names like on the sleeve or lower hip area? ....Just a thought.

I'd go for "NVD" (maybe use a cool font) centered on the front and back. Simple and elegant.

We should also print up a handful of extras and keep them for club events as prizes or for draws at shows or whatever.

In all seriousness, I think that people would not be unwilling to chip in for the shirts, I knew that the 5 bucks extra was not really gonna pay for a shirt.

white shirts with standard VW blue colored text and on the back of the shirt under the collar a small VW logo

I'd chip in a little more for a t-shirt. Personally I tihnk the basic black with white writing would look the best. Maybe have the new writing at the top newveedub would look cool if you wanted to keep it super basic

I don't think we can use the VW logo due to copyright problems and so forth (this is why it does not appear on the site). However we could probably use the VW colors.

i was gonna say about the copyright too but in all honestly aslong as we don't sell them i would say its fine.. i know beer companies let you make your own t-shirts aslong as you don't profit from them and i'm sure we can make a loop hole and say everyone bought their own.. i dunno just a thought..

Well I like the idea of black with white text myself. Things to keep in mind, text front and back is not a huge expense, but multiple colors are. We will probably have some leftovers because th eprice is much better when you get a larger quantity so I am estimating an intial order of 40 shirts to keep the price down, but that being said I do not want to be left with 36 shirts

I like the idea of white shirt w/ black, or vw blue text. It would be sweet if you could even get the exhaust tips from the logo above on there (would probably be too much $$)

I Agree... count me in for buying one. I'd personally like just writing on the shirt rather than any pictures or anything.
