Have had mine for like 8 years on the black jetta, no complaints, daily driven year round through hell and back.

edit: just saw the price, $395, wow. My neighbor has been wanting to lower his MKIV, for that price you can't go wrong.
Yeah but I think I would want to raise the car up during winter.

If the height you are after is the Jetta on the 4th page there is no point in raising it up for winter, its high enough.

With that cupkit I think your Jetta would be sitting just below the stock ride height of a MKIV GLI.
I drove my GLI this winter without any problems.
It is up to you though!

Tracy has that cupkit, maybe she should tell you her thoughts on it

I noticed members get 10% off at Concept1 on instock items. How does that work? Is it an informal thing? I could use the 50-100 I save

The coils are terrible to me because they are super bouncy, 8threads to go all around, but I have to crank them up it scrapes everywhere, and my rear fenders sit on the rear tires now that I put the rear wheels on.

Speaking for Tracy, that cupkit is GARBAGE!!! Perhaps we just got a really sh!tty set, but it rides like crap, the front strut blew within the first year, and in general feels like money thrown away. If you're after a cup-kit, I would suggest H&R. I've never heard anything bad about their cup-kits. My opinion stays the same, save a bit of money and get some decent coilovers. If you feel you want to raise for winter, your feelings wont change when you buy a cup-kit

I have the h&r touring cupkit with 19's on my mkiv golf and it's awesome. It essentially eliminated 90% of the wheel gap. It rides really nice and it's fine in the winter.
