It's nice to see another red VW. I think the smoked lens are the way to go.

Anyways, back to the topic at hand

I like clear side markers on red cars alot more than smoked. But it depends if you like the smoked look. I am still undecided if I want smoked or clear.

I think you need to decide about the tail lights as well, if you are keeping the stock tails then smoked markers are the way to go, but if you where to change them to maybe all red or a red clear then maybe clear is the way to go, or you could just go clear anyway as I like that look better

And yes you need a Euro bumper in order to run a euro rubstrip on Golf/GTIs.

Personally I like the clear look better. To me the smoked markers look like you are trying to hide them (on a black car especially) and if you are going to do that you should just get rid of them entirely. Also so many people try to make smoked markers themselves and do a crappy job that I think in my head I associate the smoked look with those poor ones I have seen.

I think that the clear markers tie in better with the stock marker lights located under and in front of the mirrors - if you are getting smoked front markers you should also change the other markers out.

Thanks Ryan. I bid on it but I'm not sure I did it right. I've never bought anything off ebay b4.

I checked out a cheap set there on ebay, and sure the markers were cheap, but shipping was 28 bux US.....I could ship 4 pounds of stuff across the border for that, 2 dinky markers should be 5 bux tops.....Grrrr....
