Re: R32 Roll Call
Sorry guys, been way too busy with the other car to set something up. Ideally this would have happened this past sunday when we got dumped on, but I was in the garage all day. We'll do something soon. See you all at the Eu Rod Rivers meet tonightPatryk

So far the best price I can find is $750 for Stoptech rotors and Pagid pads from Tunerworks.

Re: R32 Roll Call
just took the .:R to south centre for the free 30 point inspection for out of warranty VW's! Everything looked good and it was nice to get underneath the car when it was on the lift and see all the scraping i have been doing haha. only thing i need to take car of is a brake fluid flush, other than that everything else looks good!sigpic

Re: R32 Roll Call
just bought a new K & N high performance filter as the other one appeared to be the original and was quite dirty, havnt taken it for a spin yet but i will see if there is any difference. speaking of difference, i am not going to spend much more for mods this year aside from a few suspension parts and a tune so i am thinking about doing the "air box" mod, anyone done it before? saw a how too here http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthrea...ification-urp-sigpic

Re: R32 Roll Call
well i did this today after work but i kept the hole for the intake snorkel so i can remove that later as well.
needless to say......WOW! i didnt feel a big increase in power (maybe a small increase) but the sound is amazing! sounds like a 12 V vr6 with an intake, now THIS is what an R is supposed to sound like! found there was better throttle response as well. cant wait to go UM tune too add to this!
took advantage of a georgous day after work ( dont worry, i took er for wash after!)
