Importing a 2010 GTI, got a question

Found a good deal out of the US but I'm wondering one thing. Will it pass the inspection because the speedo is only in MPH or is that an issue.

if it has digital speedo too you can change it to km/h and leave it if the mph don't bother you on the dials

Something has to show km/hr

I am pretty sure those have a electronic readout so you can change it to km/hr and turn on the drl with vagcom then go to Canadian tire and your good to go :P
