belt or chain?

Looking at a 2007 ,2008 passat with 2.0T engine, Does it have a timing chain or is it a timing belt.
Also I have read that the 2.0t has had issues with fuel pump pressure problems, relating to cam wear?
what year is affected, is there a recall? easy repair?

Belt. All 2.0 FSI have cam follower issues. As long as the follower is replaced soon enough it shouldn't cause any issues.
