looks good geoff.. yea i have no idea on the peformance gain of it all but my idle seemed to like it.. it still actually will dip every once in a while but for some reason only with petro can 91.. the mohawk 94 makes stays fine and same with shell.. i dunno

Well it's been a few months, and while I won't lay any conclusions from the above, I will just say I'm pleased. I also switched to 94 at about the same time however octane increase doesn't = mpg, or does it?

It will be interesting to see after the summer as those big peaks at the beginning will be repeated in July.

haha actually mikey i've been doing quite good.. 325ish on my 1st 1/2 so far.. but your right with a chip you'll start to pass and next thing you know your doing like 150.. i love it

The only thing I'd do different is to also solder the connections. Depending on how bad the crimp job, environment exposure the connection will deteriorate over time and problems will come back.

I was thinink of doing this. thanks for the link i didn't see this on vwvortex before. Alos my cousin bought an aftermarket kit for his car (non VW) he said he didn't have a definate hp gain but there was a significant increase in responsiveness, and also a slight increas in mpg. He also said his lights were brighter and the stereo was better. I know most of you had the same results but I just wanted to post my limited experience with this mod.
