    I would be torn, I love the ALH engine with its potential and simplicity, and considering I have many spare parts and performance parts it would be ideal. Although I do love the idea of new.
    My hope is a mk4 4 door golf, leather, sunroof, 4motion diesel to be under $10k in a few years. I don't see this golf R to be anything under $40k at launch and probably won't depreciate too fast either.

    My Jetta still has lots of life in it, just hoping the body holds on as the rust holes are starting to become its demise. I figure the more rust it has the less weight, equals better performance and more fuel economy.

        Probably not, stupid hippies in san fransisco wrecking it for everyone else. Although the gasser r32 sells limited amounts as well. You never know, as a limited run they may deem it sellable.

              That was my question really, not interested in a right hand drive if they were a UK only production model, but I'll be one of the first on the waiting list for one from a left hand drive country...

                I would never import a right hand driver vehicle. They have been trying to outlaw them for too many years to make the risk worth it.

                  Problem is the right hand drive 4motion golfs are in a language I can easily read. I don't need much as I know the interior of an mk4 like the back of my hand, its just for other who need to get in a drive.

                          I had a little free time the other day and looked on the European version of "Kijiji" that Bart put up and we can legally import Audi A6 2.5L Quattro TDi's with a 6 Speed.

                              Stop Ben, just stop. I told my wife I'd keep the jetta until the end but I think this is a better idea. I wonder if they discount freight on a group basis. How many of us would be ready to buy at the same time?
