1992 Golf 1.8L- Engine stalls after startup

Starts fine.
Takes about a minute and shuts down.
Restart works fine and no more issues till next start from cold.
Idle is smooth.

I'm wondering if the (single) injector needs a cleaning; or some sensor might be faulty.
