Im doing a VR Swap into my MK3 i know its possible but i cant find the information or the right and full information on going VR6 and staying 4x100 axles. I have wheels that i like and i want to keep them 5x100 is gay and the wheels are way over priced . ( my personal opinion ) anyone know anything about staying 4x100 ?

You should be able to re-use your 2.0 drive axles if you are staying 4X100.Graeme

I don't think the axels mater on which motor is in there. Is it not more about which tranny is on there? Or does mounting a VR shift the tranny over?Name: Brent

Axles will be the same length between VR (O2A trans) and 1.8/2.0 (O2O trans)
As long as his 1.8 Axles have 100mm inner CVs they should work.
