Looks pretty real to me. You don't want me to get into dealer issues, as I will potentially get pissed off, or sued. LOL

Check out a recent thread over on you know where

i'm not too worried about it....if it stated that they would reject all warranty because of mods then I would change back to stock. I agree that it should limit the warranty. If something goes wrong and they prove that it is because of the chip...I'll pay. If they can't prove to me that it was the chip, I'll argue (with lawyers) until I am blue in the face and force them to fix it......

I really don't drive my car that hard all the time anyway.....I just like to have the power if I need it.....I'm not worried about it too much at all.....And the way I have been driving my warranty will be over in 2 1/2 - 3 years instead of the 4. I'm already at 26000kms in just 9 months.

In all honesty I drive my car pretty hard, I don't think I can afford the money, or the effort to deal with a dealership if they refuse my warranty. If something goes wrong I want it fixed because I can't afford to do it myself. I am not chipping for a long time.
I own a luxury econobox..is that an oxymoron?

              Ian,

I was just wondering if you agree with what I posted. Just want to make sure to cover my bases.

                Thorin,

I agree. They will need to prove that the part you installed caused the failure in question. However, if they find modifications, I believe they will make note of it for future reference.

Ian is Right The Dealership has to prove that the Modifications Performed on the Car have Cause the Failure That the Car was brought in for Ex - If you Change the Exhaust and chip it and the Suspension has a noise They Can't Void the Warranty or Refuse to repair the Car. You have to be willing to call them on it though

                    Does that say intake?
What can an intake do except maybe leak?

intake will ruin your MAF, throws lots of CEL's and make you run rich.

I am willing to accept the consequences of the mods I've done on the car. The people at SSFC haven't not mentioned anything yet about what I have done to the car (knock on wood), every time I bring the car in, I expect the worst whenever I get a call from them but so far so good. They even warrantied some boost pressure bypass valve for me.

I agree with alien on this topic, personally I can't wait till my clutch goes,(this doesn't mean I am going to try to wreck it, but when it does go I'm not going to loose much sleep )cause then I have an excuse to put in the SACH clutch and flywheel

I find it funny that they actually included on the sheet posted by fluidic: "adorned with performance stickers". Oh no, he has stickers! Watch out for this guy!

Lucky gor me (or is it unlucky) I am getting my next car used, so my warranty will probably not be a big issue (even if I get the car from a dealership).
