Are there any good tunnels anywhere near here? Underneath bridges is pretty good, but I want the full show

theres 2 tunnels right after eachother in airdrie. im a sucker for opening every possible window in the car every time i go through them. and to boot theres a walkway to scare the poopers out of people

when I used to have alberta boot downtown on 10th ave and 5th street i would always floor it on the 5th street underpass, god that little 1.8t sounded good down there!

i do nightly 4th street tunnel holt renfrew runs now in my car.

God i love that sound.

Not to mention in my parking garage i always do the little blip of the throttle

Are there any good tunnels anywhere near here? Underneath bridges is pretty good, but I want the full show

My favourites:
- 4th Avenue out of D/T where the lane reversal goes underneath 14th Street;
- 4th Street by Holt Renfrew (agreed Andrew);
- 8th/5th/4th/1st/12th Street, or any other street that runs under the CPR tracks south of D/T, or anywhere else;
- 11th St SE under Glenmore is fun; and
- I do enjoy a swift left-hander on Crowchild NW on the way to the UofC!

i love james short.. you can hear me running 1st gear on 1st level when i'm on the lowest 4th level

I always drop a gear when I have the top down in the cabby and go under and overpass, too much fun.

The best still is the cassier tunnel in Vancouver that links north van after you get over the 2nd narrows to Vancouver. Its supoer long and you can do 0-200km/h in it at night. Sounds ungodly good

I had a lambo fly past me under there last year. He was going so fast I didn't even see him come up on me. Scared the bejesus outta me, realizing 39 seconds later I needed toilet paper and a towel.

God I miss that stretch of road, 3rd gear... Ducati... Carbon cans... Nuff said...
