I need to know the thickness of adapter to make my wheels flush with the fenders. Wheel size is, 225 40 R18, for 2005 Golf 4dr.
Searched but couldn't find, my guess is 20mm.
Huff offsets are et51 I believe so a 20mm offset would give you a final offset of et31, which I think is fine for a MK4 but I cannot remember much anymore about them.

20mm adapters will work however they will not sit flush as you asked for. You would need a minimum of 25mm adapters I would think to sit close to flush. maybe even bigger!

Pics with specs: 18x7.5 -> final et's = 28 up front, 18 in rear.
Good picture of the way it sits:
I would do 25's up front (maybe 20's if you are worried about rubbing but not sure how low you are)
Do 30's for the rear brah. Hell even with a 30mm in the back your wheels would sit 3mm inwards compared to the car above.

Ok, I'm doing the wheels first, suspension after(I know its gonna look bad for a bit) so stock height right now. So I'm thinking 25mm ft...30-35 rear.
Opinions?
