    I just saw a '63 VW bus go for $198,000.00 on Barrett-Jackson.

That auction is something else. The prices get out of control...

"This 1963 23 window bus is one of the most desirable vehicles in the world."
I would never have guessed that.

This bus was so nice you could never ever drive it after dropping that kind of money for it. You could have flipped it upside down and eaten off the underside.

Such a waste, I have a bus, no where near that nice. But that price is ridiculous. These are not super cars, these were not especially rare or expensive back when they were made.

              But cool none the less.

I saw one of those in Sanich on the Island 3 years ago, I'm sure if you go there today you would still see it around.

My first VW was a 71 bus, I looked around for 6 months trying to find a split window with safari windows...this on is incredible...but, as stated above, I would never be able to bring myself to drive THAT one more than a few times a year...kinda defeats, the reason, why a person would have bought one to begin with...BEEUTIFUL THO!!!

There is no way I would spend that much on a bus even if someone gave me that money lol
